Perfecting your new brows 

At Laelia Brows we believe that eyebrow tattooing should be an enhancement to your brows, looking natural and soft when you are not wearing makeup. 

Brow mapping is a crucial part of your appointment, this allows you to see the shape of the brows before going ahead with any tattooing. Brow mapping allows you to feel confident in the look of your new brows before we make them permanent. 

During your appointment we will work together to discuss your desired shape and outcome for your brow. I will support you to decide what will look most natural and suited to your face. To achieve the Laelia Brows signature soft & fluffy brows I always try to include as much of your natural brow shape while mapping. 

Before we begin your pre-draw I will apply a topical numbing cream that will sit for about 20-30 minutes. During this time, we can discuss your preferred eyebrow style, browse through your brow inspiration pics, review your intake/consent form and review my portfolio. This is a great opportunity for you to discuss your desired outcomes, any areas of your brow you don’t like and to discuss brow design and colour.  

This time also gives me an opportunity to explain the procedure and talk through any questions you may have. My aim is that clients understand the procedure in detail and know what to expect at each stage. This part of your appointment also gives me time to analyse your facial expressions in order to craft eyebrows that will brighten your eyes and light up your face. 

Once I have removed the numbing cream I will go ahead and start your pre-draw in pencil, using the golden ratio method and carefully measuring your facial features to see what best suits your face. I find that most people have varied contours and bone structures on each side of their face so my goal when brow mapping is to find harmony and balance between my eyebrow design and the client’s face. Taking care during the design phase results in eyebrows that are most flattering to your features.  

While microblading is the star of the show, I take my time during appointments to perfect the design pre-draw, allowing me to create beautiful eyebrows that my clients absolutely LOVE!
