Microblading, also known as feathering, is a form of cosmetic tattooing. It uses a manual hand held needle to create realistic hair strokes in the skin to mimic brow hairs. This treatment is ideal for clients with normal to dry skin and small pores, who are willing and able to follow the strict aftercare instructions to maintain this highly desired style of semi-permanent makeup.
Microblading can also be used to create eyebrows where very little hair exists. Tiny needles are used to mimic hair strokes, so you achieve beautifully shaped and natural looking fuller brows. Microblading heals extremely natural and does not mimic the look of makeup, it is an enhancement to your brows, looking soft and natural when not wearing makeup.
Semi-permanent brows are the perfect solution for clients who have no brow hairs, to clients who have full brows but are wanting to fill in their sparse areas. We specialise in Microblading and Ombré Brows.

MICROBLADING
Ombré is ideal for young to mature clients with dry to oily skin types. This style of semi-permanent makeup requires less care and touch ups. Ombré shading creates more density in the skin to replicate realistic brows for clients who naturally have less brow hair or have very thick brow hairs microblading alone cannot mimic. This technique combines soft shading with microbladed hair strokes to to build more intense colour in sparse areas such as the arch and tail for an ombré effect.

At Laelia Brows we believe that eyebrow tattooing should be an enhancement to your brows, looking natural and soft when you are not wearing makeup. You picked Laelia Brows as your artist because you admire how soft her brows heal. Laelia Brows does not perform bold/makeup brows, if this is the style of cosmetic tattooing you're looking for you have picked the wrong artist. Laelia Brows strives to honour the skin's integrity above all else as this affects how the brows will age in the long term. Too much saturated pigment does not allow for fading over time resulting in the client being stuck with bold dark brows unless a removal is done. We want to keep the brows natural so you will have to apply makeup to them if you desire a more dramatic look (this is a good thing). Laelia Brows may refuse touch up appointments if a client is wanting a more dramatic look that we deem unsafe for the integrity of their brows.
Touch up Appointment/ Pre-paid Touch up: All new Brow Tattoos are inclusive of 2 appointments. The second ‘6 -8 week touch up appointment’ MUST be completed no more than 12 weeks post initial appointment. Rescheduling a ‘touch-up’ appointment may result in your new date falling outside of these 12 weeks due to limited availability. If so, a Colour Booster fee of $200 will incur. Please discuss this with staff upon booking if you require assistance with this. Please note that if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not show up, you need to pay another $100 to re-book.
Yearly Touch up: Semi-permanent brows are low maintenance, not no maintenance! Most clients require an annual colour refresh. Your yearly touch is recommended 1.5-2 years after the initial tattoo or previous touch up done. If you are requiring a touch up and it has been less than 12 months, please email me a photo of your brows prior to booking. If you are unsure of when you came in last please email me.
Third Touch up: Only available at 7 weeks after your initial 6 week touch up appointment. This touch up cannot be booked anytime after this and will be cancelled.

I recommend that Laelia Brow clients have a natural looking brow permanently microbladed and, if desired, the client can fill in a different style of brow with makeup once the brows have healed. To achieve my natural style of microblading, I follow my clients natural brow hair pattern.
