  • Be sure to wash your hands before touching your face or lips after treatment.
  • Use ice to reduce swelling in the first 24 hours after treatment. Please glad wrap the ice before using to ensure no water directly touches your lips.
  • Blot lips with a cotton pad every hour after treatment for the first day.
  • Use the provided aftercare cream as often as needed.
  • Do not wash, scrub or pick your lips.
  • Try not to get your lips wet. We understand that this hard to achieve when brushing your teeth or washing your face, so please apply a thicker coat of the provided aftercare cream before any unavoidable water exposure.

WASHING & care INSTRUCTIONS

Once your lips are tattooed, you will need to look after them to ensure you maintain your beautiful lip blush results. It is imperative that you support the lip healing process by following an appropriate aftercare regime.

Day by day, the lip blush healing process progresses, along with a little help and support from yourself and us. This process does require patience. While the initial healing period is only five days, the true results are not revealed until the skin is fully healed, which can take up to 30 days after your appointment. Every healing requires a little patience, and each skin type heals differently. By following the hints below, you will give your lips the best chance to heal.

After your lip tattoo, your lips are likely to be very swollen for 12-24 hours. They may feel as though they are "wind burnt" when the numbing cream wears off. You may use as much of the recommended aftercare cream as you like to help relieve this feeling.
